I’m happy to give you a live demo of any shakuhachi via skype or google hangouts.
This 2.4 “A” shakuhachi is deeply resonant with a full and round sound, a complex sound and look. I handcrafted this shakuhachi from rare “goma” madake bamboo I harvested my self. Goma madake is madake bamboo that dies and “cures” out in the bamboo grove. This natural process leaves the bamboo with beautiful markings and coloration known as “spalting”. I bound a crack at the top with an inlaid rattan veneer of the highest quality and it’s guaranteed for life. This is a jinashi shakuhachi made for the playing of traditional honkyoku shakuhachi music. For urushi lacquer please inquire.
