Special note: I must confirm that you're physically able to play this shakuhachi before sale. Generally, you'll need to be about 177cm or 5ft-10in tall with a pit-to-tip-of-index-finger measurement of 71cm or 28in (see measurement detailed on this page and contact me directly).
Type: Jimori shakuhachi, Murei 'above root'
Length: 3.1 95cm.
Weight: 300 grams (lighter than most jiari 1.8's which fall between 350~500+ grams, on average).
Finger-holes: Extra large holes, standard off-set for improved ergonomics (right hand playing). Largest hole is the 4th at 14.7mm x 13.5mm (3rd is traditionally smaller, 10.7mm); the rest of the holes are 13.5~mm.
The thumbhole was also filled and moved and a picture is provided before sale.
Pitch: F3 (434hz).
Bindings: bound (wrapped with cord) with lifetime insurance against cracking.
