Special notes: though it has no cracks, I bound the entire shakuhachi and it's insured for life. The 2nd finger hole fell near a node and the 4th on a node which were both unavoidable. I sanded down the nodes so that they wouldn't interfere with playing or the sound.
Type: Jinashi shakuhachi root end.
Length: 2.7 82cm.
Weight: 417 grams (around the same weight as some jiari 1.8's which fall between 350~500+ grams, on average).
Finger-holes: medium sized holes, standard off-set for improved ergonomics (right hand playing). Largest hole is 11mm x 10.5mm.
